I received no reply

This is the most frequent question, and it rests on a simple misunderstanding: the message leaves from the gateway number, not yours. The recipient's reply therefore comes back to that gateway and is displayed on a public page, never on your phone: this is the very principle of a masked sender.

The causes, from the most common to the rarest

   The reply landed on the gateway, not with you

   The recipient replies to the number they see, that of the gateway. Your own number was never given to them, and the form never asked you for it.

   The recipient couldn't tell who was writing

   Without a signature in the text, they received a message from an unknown number and simply did not follow up.

   The reply is not yet visible

   The list of received messages stays cached for a few minutes: a brand-new reply may not appear immediately.

   The recipient replied in another way

   If they know you, they may have reached you by another means rather than replying to the displayed number.

Steps to follow

   Open the received messages page

   The replies that reached the gateway are listed there, from the most recent to the oldest.

   Filter on the recipient's number

   The side filter keeps only the messages coming from the number you contacted.

   Sign your future messages

   Slip your first name into the text: otherwise, the recipient does not know who is behind the masked send.

   Share your number for a private exchange

   The replies received on the gateway are public. For a confidential conversation, put your own number in the body of the message.
