Stop being contacted from SMS Anonyme

Have your number added to our block list: no anonymous message will leave this site for you again. Here is how, and what it cannot do.

SMS Anonyme exists so that someone can write to you without their own number showing. That is exactly what makes the situation hard from your side: the messages arrive, you do not know who from, and you cannot even reply "stop". Blocking settles the first half of the problem, the arriving messages. The second half, the sender's identity, is not settled here — it belongs to the courts, and this page explains why.

Anonymity: what it covers, what it does not

Better said before you pay for anything.

  • We will not tell you who wrote to you. Whoever receives a message sent from here never sees the sender's number, and we do not hand it over to anyone who asks either, whatever the reason.
  • Anonymous does not mean untraceable. Our technical logs exist and are handed to the judicial authorities when they requisition them. That is the only route to an identification, and it starts with a complaint, never with a payment.
  • The block only looks forward. It acts on what has not been sent yet: neither the messages already on your phone nor what we recorded of them are affected.

Getting your number blocked, in five steps

    A text sent from this platform arrives from a shared gateway number, never from a personal number or a five-digit short code. If yours comes from a commercial sender or another platform, the block requested on this page will change nothing.

    The button below leads straight to the form, on the received-messages page, with the blocking offer already selected.

    Enter the number to protect

    A French mobile, in the 06XXXXXXXX or 07XXXXXXXX format. Read it back before confirming: that number, and only that one, goes on the block list.

    Pay for the request

    Payment is handled by Stripe. No card details travel through our site and we keep none of them.

  5. 5

    The block is placed

    Processed as soon as your payment reaches us. Your number goes onto the gateway's block list, and every attempt to send to it is refused, permanently.

What the block will not do

  • It will not tell you who was writing: the sender stays anonymous, before and after.
  • It does not erase the messages already delivered nor the ones we recorded — two other offers, on the received-messages page, do that.
  • It only covers our own gateway: a text from another site, an advertiser or somebody's phone will keep arriving.
  • It replaces neither a 33700 report nor a complaint, and it is not evidence before a court.

Insults, threats, harassment: blocking stops the flow, it does not deal with the offence. Three reflexes, in this order.

Keep the evidence

Before any block, screenshot every message with its date and time, and do not delete the conversation. A deleted message is a lost piece of the file, and that cannot be undone.

Report to 33700

33700 is the French reporting service for unwanted texts: forward the message to it, free of charge. It feeds the scheme that lets operators cut off abusive sources.

File a complaint

At a police station, a gendarmerie or by letter to the public prosecutor. It is the only step that lets investigators requisition the technical logs and trace the author. We answer judicial requisitions.

Frequently asked questions

Q01Can you tell me who sent me this message?

No. Neither for a fee nor on request. Identifying a sender goes through a judicial requisition, as part of an investigation opened after a complaint. That is the only lawful route, and it does not depend on us.

Q02Can the block be lifted later?

No. Once your number is on the block list, it stays there. We offer no self-service removal: a block undone with one click would protect nobody.

Q03Will I keep receiving texts from other sources?

Yes, if there are any. We can only act on our own gateway. Commercial marketing, another sending service or a person writing from their phone are not covered.

Q04How long does it take?

Processed as soon as your payment reaches us.

Q05Can I have someone else's number blocked?

The request must concern a number you hold. Putting somebody else's on the list would cut them off from messages they may want, without them ever being told.
