How to find the reply to an SMS

Replies come back to a shared, public number.

Since the message goes out from our gateway's number, the recipient's reply comes back there — and not to your phone. These incoming messages appear on the public page of received messages, open to everyone. That is the trade-off of a discreet, account-free service: without sign-up, no private inbox is possible.

The steps

Send the message and remember the target line
It is that number which will help you spot its reply among all the incoming messages.

Go to the received messages page
It lists the messages that reached the gateway number, from the most recent to the oldest.

Refine the sorting by number
The side filter shows only the messages from a specific line. Clicking a message card opens the same targeted view.

Wait if nothing shows yet
The list and counters refresh at regular intervals. A brand-new reply may take a moment to appear.

Good to know

•The numbers are partially masked on screen, but the text of the messages stays public.
•Warn your recipient that their reply will be visible to everyone if they write to the displayed number.
•For a private exchange, slip your own number into the text and continue the conversation elsewhere.
