33700 reporting (SMS spam)

33700 is the national system for reporting unwanted communications. It serves to forward a suspicious SMS free of charge so it can be examined and abusive senders penalised.

The procedure comes down to two gestures: forward the message received to 33700, then reply to the confirmation SMS specifying the number of the reported sender. The report doesn't protect you individually from that sender, but feeds the collective fight against fraudulent campaigns.
